Refund, Returns and Shipping Policy

Overview

At Charge It Up, we aim to provide reliable products and clear customer service. This policy explains how refunds, returns, and shipping are handled when purchasing from us.

Refunds and returns are only available for products that are delivered with a defect and reported on the same day of delivery. Customers must provide proof of purchase and clear photos or videos showing the defect. Once the product has been inspected and the defect is confirmed, the refund will be processed using the original payment method.

Refunds will not be granted for change of mind, incorrect product selection, damage caused after delivery, normal wear and tear, or compatibility issues that were not confirmed before purchase.

All returned products must include the original packaging and accessories and must be returned in the condition received. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

We offer delivery through PEP Paxi, Pargo, and courier services, depending on availability in the customer’s area. Shipping fees are payable by the buyer and are calculated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, public holidays, or incorrect delivery information.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their order immediately upon delivery and report any defects on the same day.

Refunds are only applicable where:

  • The product was delivered with a defect; and
  • The defect is reported on the same day as delivery.

No refunds will be granted for:

  • Compatibility issues not confirmed prior to purchase
  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect product selection by the buyer
  • Damage caused after delivery
  • Normal wear and tear

Refund Process

To request a refund, customers must:

  • Contact us on the day of delivery;
  • Provide proof of purchase;
  • Provide photos or videos showing the defect.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and send your item to: Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
